I've heard it over and over and over again that's digital photography is all about the light whether is natural or artificial. Lately, I've been playing with my strobes, reflectors, and light meter in my make shift home studio and have been pretty amazed by the image I have created. I heard a photographer state the following in regards to light and utilizing the light meter. Adjust the light so that it's at least 45 degrees right, center or left of the subject. Use the light meter to get an accurate reading of the amount of light that's laminating the subject. Make some find adjustments if necessary and create that amazing image.
1. The light should come from only one direction.
2. Not using your light meter is like a carpenter not using his square. (Make sense to me)
Below some images, I created of my lovely wife and beautiful grandkids. As I always said "Stay Focused on What Matters Most and Keep Shooting"
